Samir Hamel, APRN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to helping patients improve their quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based pain management. As part of the interventional pain management team, he works closely with physicians to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, manage medications, and support patients throughout their pain management journey.
Samir earned his Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University,
completing more than 980 clinical hours and caring for over 1,000 patients in primary care, internal medicine, and pediatric settings. His clinical experience includes treating patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions, neuropathic pain, arthritis, diabetes, and other complex medical conditions that commonly contribute to chronic pain.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Samir worked as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse at Banner
Del Webb Medical Center, caring for medically complex patients with cardiac, respiratory, and post-procedural conditions. He combines strong clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach focused on improving function, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.
Samir is an Arizona-licensed APRN, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and DEA-registered provider. A proud United States Army veteran, he served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, and Meritorious Service Medal for his distinguished service.
