She completed three years of residency for general surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA., and three years of residency for Anesthesia at the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She began practicing in 2008 at BroMenn Healthcare in Bloomington, IL where she was an attending anesthesiologist until 2010. She moved to Arizona in 2010 where she practiced for Arizona Heart Anesthesia and Arizona Medical Associates, a mobile anesthesia group. Dr. Harris is recognized as a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology. She is a volunteer physician for mission trips organized by the Living Hope Ministries. Dr. Harris is a faculty mentor for the Arizona Diversity Mentorship Initiative as well as a member of the Arizona Society of Black Physicians.
